Hotel Description
Welcome to Aelia Suite I, a charming three-star haven nestled in the heart of Mykonos Town. This delightful accommodation has earned an exceptional 9.2 rating from satisfied guests, placing it among the most highly-regarded lodging options on the enchanting Greek island of Mykonos. Located at 9 Mitropoleos in Mykonos City, Aelia Suite I offers an authentic Mykonian experience with the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. The hotel’s prime position in Mykonos Town (also known as Chora) places you at the center of the island’s vibrant culture, just steps away from the iconic whitewashed buildings and cobblestone pathways that have made this destination famous worldwide.
From Aelia Suite I, guests can easily explore the town’s picturesque attractions, including the famous windmills of Kato Mili that stand sentinel over the shoreline, offering spectacular sunset views and perfect photo opportunities. The hotel’s central address places you just a short stroll from Little Venice, where elegant old houses hang dramatically over the sea’s edge, creating one of the most romantic spots on the island. Mitropoleos Street itself is situated in a charming neighborhood where you can immerse yourself in authentic Greek culture, with local tavernas, boutiques, and cafes dotting the surrounding lanes. The celebrated Archaeological Museum of Mykonos and the Maritime Museum are within comfortable walking distance, allowing culture enthusiasts to easily satisfy their curiosity about the island’s rich history.
What truly sets Aelia Suite I apart, as reflected in its outstanding 9.2 rating, is the exceptional experience it offers to guests seeking an intimate and personalized stay. While maintaining the classic Cycladic architecture that Mykonos is renowned for—think pristine white walls, azure accents, and minimalist elegance—the suite provides a peaceful retreat from the island’s legendary nightlife and bustling daytime activities. After a day of sunbathing at nearby Ornos or Paradise Beach (both easily accessible by public transport or a short taxi ride), or after shopping in the town’s chic boutiques, guests can return to their serene accommodation to recharge. The property’s thoughtful design reflects the island’s distinctive aesthetic, incorporating traditional elements with modern comforts to create a space that feels both authentically Greek and luxuriously contemporary. What’s particularly remarkable about Aelia Suite I is how it manages to offer such a high-quality experience while maintaining its accessible three-star rating, proving that exceptional hospitality doesn’t always require five stars to create lasting memories. Whether you’re a first-time visitor to Mykonos or a returning admirer of this Aegean paradise, Aelia Suite I provides the perfect base from which to experience all the magic, beauty, and excitement that makes Mykonos one of Greece’s most coveted destinations.

The location is perfect. The apartment is clean and new. Would definitely come back.

The host was extremely helpful. We reached Mykonos when the unfortunate storm struck the island with devastation. Flights got delayed. So we landed at 1 am. Still the host welcomed us. He dropped us to airport too.
Huelsman from United States – 29 March 2025 (10/10)
This was a beautiful property! Alex was very attentive and even brought us toilet paper and gave us a free ride to the airport. It was a wonderful stay.

What could be improved: tidak ada…semua okMihai from Canada – 14 October 2024 (8/10)
Spacious, close to restaurants and old port (as we had a day trip to Delos leaving from old port). The host is very responsive and gives clear indications about the property. I recommend the place, and some small improvements.
What could be improved: One important fact is that taxis are not allowed in the downtown area of Mikonos (as it is a pedestrian area only), so the taxi left us at the Factory Bus Station and we had to walk with the luggage for 500 m to the property. The property is well kept but some small things were missing (such us: liquid soap in dispenser, only 5 hangers, no salt and pepper and paper towel in the kitchen, no iron only a hand steamer, no TV), so there is a bit of room for improvement.Wayne from Australia – 12 October 2024 (10/10)
Location was perfect, right in the action.
What could be improved: Noisy bars close by but it didn’t bother us.David from Australia – 12 July 2024 (10/10)
instructions were clear and easy.
Door opened easily. V secure
What could be improved: wished I could have stayed longerTerri from Australia – 5 July 2024 (9/10)
Great location with restaurants & shopping just outside the door. Walking distance to many attractions Including Little Venice, The Windmills, Fabrika Bus Square, Walled Garden (like a sanctuary with Bar/Rest under shady trees next to the Open Air Cinema) plus supermarket & pharmacy. Although it’s located on one of the main laneways of Mykonos, it’s not at all noisy. Acon worked well. Small balcony downstairs off living room where we enjoyed our morning cuppa watching the passing parade of Mykonos waking up. The upstairs small terrace off the bedroom had ocean glimpses & was a good spot to watch the sunset. Bed very comfy & good shower. Appreciated the diffuser with the hairdryer. Nicely decorated.
What could be improved: Very basic kitchen even though advertised as a ‘well stocked’ kitchen. No microwave, no teatowel, no teabags, only 2-3 coffee pods for a 5nt stay & no large tea/coffee mugs, only tiny espresso cups (2 large ones were delivered when we asked). Also the safe was broken (Alex did come over to try to fix it but couldn’t). No drying rack especially for beach towels & the Marshall Radio proudly displayed didn’t work. We found the communication of how to locate the apartment quite lacking & we weren’t told if the linen was being changed during our 5nt stay. It does state it in the ad, but beware the 2 sets of stairs, one from the street to the lower level of the apartment & the 2nd up to the bedroom/bathroom are both steep & uneven. Difficult with heavy luggage or if you have dodgy knees. Since it is a beach destination, beach towels would have been appreciated instead of having to buy them ourselves.Dina from Italy – 30 June 2024 (9/10)
Central, close to everything
What could be improved: The entrance was very steep stairs, more stairs inside 😅Cora from Hungary – 14 June 2024 (10/10)
The apartment is so beautifully decorated and very spacious. The location is just amazing, if you don't mind walking a bit from the bus station.
What could be improved: Just to note, not a bad thing, but the bathroom is upstairs and should be considered if anyone has mobility issues.
